On Monday, November 14, at the premises of MAHLE Electric Drives Bosnia in Laktaši, a contract was signed for the construction of a production and business facility of the German company Mahle at the location of the Aleksandrovac industrial zone in Laktaši.
The facility where auto parts will be produced has an area of 30,000 m2 and will be built on a site of 65,000 m2.
Baupartner, the contractor, is also the designer of this facility, where their project team together with partners Klaus Lehmann Gračanica and Alfaterm Mostar managed to meet all the demands of the investors, it was announced on the Baupartner website.
As they previously told eKapija from the City of Laktaši, this plant will feature the production of auto parts – a rotor line, an assembly line of covers and brush holders. The approximate value of the investment is around EUR 20 million, and they plan to employ around 300 workers.
MAHLE Electric already has production facilities in the area of the city of Laktaši, in the Aleksandrovac Industrial Zone.
As they confirmed to us from the City Administration, the entire production will be moved to the new facility.
