Although the construction season is coming to an end, numerous infrastructure projects are being implemented in Prnjavor – new roads are being built and new jobs are being created. For the next year, the agreed investments in the Business Zone of Vijaka are greater than EUR 50 million.
For entrepreneurs in the Business Zone of Vijak to have simpler and faster access to the January 9 highway, the construction of a 16-meter-wide road is underway.
In the municipal administration, they expect that this year’s revenue received from entrepreneurs will be greater than last year’s, which amounted to 300 million BAM. The mayor of the municipality, Darko Tomaš, explained that more than 95% of the agreement has been reached with the new investor, whose plan is to invest more than EUR 50 million.
– To connect that road with the highway, it is also necessary to build a traffic roundabout, which costs 2,600,000, and I expect the support and help of the republican authorities here – emphasized Tomaš.
The assistance of the republican authorities of 377,500 BAM has already arrived for the construction of a modern road and 80 parking spaces in Boračka street.
– The final works are in progress – asphalt paving and we still have the exterior decoration left – says Miloš Gogić, foreman at the construction site.
The city centre will shine in a new guise; the plan is to finish the construction of the park in the next ten days.
