Prijedor: Work has begun on the completion of the road in the Industrial Zone “Celpak”

In the Industrial Zone “Celpak” in Prijedor, work on the completion of the road “C-106” has begun. The project worth 840,000 BAM is being implemented by the City of Prijedor with the support of the Government of the Republic of Srpska. The mayor of Prijedor, Dalibor Pavlović, stated that this is a road that mostly passes by foreign companies that employ about two hundred workers.

We are talking about arranging the sewerage and access roads to each plot, which will permanently solve the problem of these investors,” Pavlović told reporters.

The director of the company “Roundliner”, Osman Džamastagić, stated that the company currently has 118 employees who were faced with the problem of lack of sewerage.

“In addition, this activity resonated very well with the German investor because we export our products outside the borders of BiH, that is, we have six trucks here every day that bring raw materials or take away goods,” said Džamastagić.

In this industrial zone, there are two more plots available, which should soon be occupied by an investment by a Slovenian and a domestic investor.

“After that, an industrial zone will be opened in the Aerodromsko naselje with over 100,000 square meters of space, where infrastructure projects are being prepared and where negotiations are in progress with an Italian investor who plans to employ between 150-200 workers on 40,000 square meters, “said Mayor Pavlović.

He added that there would be room for a dozen smaller investors. In the future, the plan is to open the Industrial Zone Gornji Orlovci on about 50 hectares, after the completion of the procedure of regulating property-legal relations.
