A foundation stone was laid in Prijedor on Friday, December 20 for the construction of a CNC Power production plant, which will be machining metal or stainless steel.
The 800-square-foot hall will be built first, with the ultimate goal of expanding production to 2,000 square feet, according to the city government.
– Here we are getting closer to filling the capacity in the Ceplak Industrial Zone. This is the third foundation this year. There are a few parcels left and we believe that for that remaining land we will get business partners who will build new facilities. This would complete the entirety of this industrial zone, except for the necessary elements of infrastructure – said Prijedor Mayor Milenko Đaković.
Sabahudin Islamoski, the owner of Budo Stainless Steel and CNC Power, said he was also handed a building permit on Friday and that the City Administration had come to his attention both when setting the price of the land he had purchased and during administrative work.
-In the next two years, we plan to finish the hall, install new machines and employ 20 workers. The value of the investment for the start is KM 750,000, and this will be further expanded. The new facility will be built at about 800 square meters on a 5,200-square-foot lot that we bought from the city at a good price, with the obligation to hire new workers – said Islamoski.
He added that all production is planned for export, to the markets of the European Union and others, and that in the second phase the construction of other production halls with an area of about 1,500 square meters is planned.
