The plan is to expand production at the Calzedonia factory in Prijedor, which is why they need more workers. The workers emphasize that they are satisfied with the working conditions and salary, it was said at the Open Day.
– I have been working in „Calzedonia“ for more than three years. I am an operator at TC, that is, preparation for sewing. We make a large quantity so that the seamstresses can sew socks. I am satisfied with my salary, we have the weekend free and we have four collective vacations in a year – Zorica Jojić told Prijedor24.com.
Francesco Rufoli, director of „Calzedonia“ for Bosnia and Herzegovina, said that they organized the Open Day with the aim of presenting the company and what they do, but also recruting new employees.
– We sew women’s socks. We have two phases of production. The first is fully automated, and the second pхаsе is the final product – a sewn sock that goes into further processing. The raw material comes to us from Italy and a part from Croatia. Our goal is to hire more workers, which we need, and we offer good conditions – said Rufoli.
„Calzedonia“ in Prijedor currently employs 440 workers, and they need another 600.
They have three more factories in Bosnia and Herzegovina: one in Novi Grad and two in Nova Topola.
This Italian company has 5,000 sales facilities in 43 countries around the world.
