PMP Industries – The machine factory from Gradiška is planning to build a production facility in the Aleksandrovac Business Zone, on a plot of land of 91,284 m2 (two plots, 45,523 m2 and 45,761 m2) where the vertical production of parts for electric powered machines would be carried out.
As stated in the text of the Preliminary Environmental Assessment, which was published on the website of the Government of the RS, this project includes the complete production process of parts for electric machines, high-pressure hydraulic components and reducers starting from the production of castings, their machining to the assembly of the finished product. The application of these products is very wide, but it is used exclusively for electric vehicles, which is unique in the European market from a technological point of view, as explained in the text.
Project implementation is planned in three phases:
– The first phase refers to the production of steel castings for the parts of electrically powered machines. The predicted dynamic of construction is 2022/2023, and production itself would begin in 2024. – The second stage includes the stage of mechanical processing of castings. This facility would be built by 2027 and would house the machining of steel castings produced in their foundry.
– Further expansion (a possible third phase) is the phase of complete assembly, i.e. the assembly of finished products and possibly the phase of expansion of production capacities for the production of castings and machining. For the purposes of the implementation of the third phase, they are interested in an additional plot, apart from the mentioned plots of 45,523 m2 and 45,761 m2, where they will implement a building of 12,000 m2, and everything is as stated in the Letter of Intent previously sent to the City of Laktaši.

Let us remind you that last autumn, during the meeting with the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, the representatives of PMP announced that they wanted new investments in the RS and that they were looking for an adequate location. At the end of March, they announced that the Ramići Business Zone in Banja Luka does not suit them.
