Knežević said that the company Div Trades has existed since 1998 and is engaged in the production of jumbo bags.
-We mainly export around 70% of production to the EU and Russia. Our main customer in the Republic of Srpska is Alumina, which is the reason why we decided to position ourselves here in order to work for the BiH market as well – said Knežević.
He stated that it is planned for this company to employ 45 workers in two shifts and produce 20,000 bags per month.
– We will start transferring the machines next week and we will try to start production as soon as possible – added Knežević.
Višković expressed his satisfaction that new jobs are being created in the real sector, thanking the Provincial Government of Vojvodina, which, together with the Government of the RS and the municipality of Milići, allocated funds for the construction of the production plant hall.
The Prime Minister emphasized that there are plans to help local communities throughout the Republic of Srpska to build production halls if they are unable to do so themselves so that investors would not have to invest significant funds for this purpose at the very beginning.
