At a session on Thursday, the Government of the Republic of Srpska approved the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Agricultural Land.
The Law on Agricultural Land stipulates that a one-time fee is paid for changing the purpose of agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes. Article 36 of the same Law prescribes in which exceptional cases this fee is not paid.
In order to create a better business environment for investment in the processing industry, the text of the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Agricultural Land was prepared.
Namely, in the specific case, the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Agricultural Land proposes that the fee for changing the purpose of agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes is not to be paid in the case of construction of facilities in the processing industry, it was stated in the announcement of the Republic of Srpska Government.
