The mayor of Brod and the co-owner of the company “DM Montaža” Mika Zečević signed a contract on the allocation of undeveloped city construction land owned by the municipality, for the construction of a production and business facility.
The land, with an area of 4,000 square meters, is located in the business zone “Skele”, in Kralja Petra 1. Oslobodioca Street.
A modern production and business facility of 1,300 square meters will be built on this location. The production hall will have an area of 1,000 square meters, while the administrative building will occupy an area of 300 square meters.
This significant investment in production facilities has been made possible through numerous facilities that the municipality of Brod offers to interested investors, to create as many new jobs as possible. One of them is the allocation of land without compensation, depending on the number of newly employed workers.
The municipality of Brod allocated land to this company free of charge because it will employ 50 new workers in the production of parts for power plants.
By the way, this respectable shipping company is engaged in the installation, manufacture, and overhaul of power plants. It operates successfully in the EU and neighboring countries and currently employs around 75 workers.
The fact that the municipal administration is currently negotiating with two other potential investors shows that the incentive measures are yielding results.
