The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, Vjekoslav Petričević, announced on Friday that a Yumco factory from Vranje should be launched in Bileća, creating between 100 and 200 job positions.
After the meeting with the President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce, Duško Pantović, and the businessmen from Trebinje, Petričević said that there was a good will for this from both Yumco and the relevant ministry.
– The local community that can provide the best conditions will be chosen, primarily in terms of providing labour. In this case, it could most likely and realistically be Bileća – Petričević told reporters.
He added that such an intention existed in the previous period, but due to certain political decisions, the Yumco factory was opened in Drvar. He said that investments in Herzegovina had not been abandoned.
