The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, Vojin Mitrović, together with his colleagues, held a meeting last week in Banja Luka with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska, led by President Pero Ćorić.
The topic of the meeting was the current state of the economy and the challenges faced by employers, as well as proposals for measures to eliminate them. At the meeting, it was emphasized that the budget of the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship for 2023 planned funds in the amount of 15.5 million BAM for incentives for salary increases, as well as 14.6 million BAM for direct investments. The interlocutors presented their opinions, suggestions and proposals for business improvement measures within the competence of the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska.
During the meeting, Mitrović pointed out that the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska, as well as other representatives of the business community, are an important partner in providing support to business entities, and that the Government of the Republic of Srpska and the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska should act together. He said that these activities will continue in the coming period, all with the aim of realizing, promoting the domestic economy and creating a better business environment.
