Republic Agency for development of small and medium enterprises is one of the key implementing bodies in the public sector by the Government of the Republic of Srpska entrusted to carry out activities and projects, development of business infrastructure. Activities and projects are defined in accordance with the Action Plan to support the establishment and development of business zones in the Republic of Srpska 2009th - 2013. years.
Realization of the project to map potential locations for the construction of business zones in the Republic of Srpska - 2009. years, the Agency has collected valuable information and analysis prepared for the Government of the Republic of Srpska, municipalities and investors to further define and implement strategic and operational directions of action in the development zone.

Support the establishment of the business infrastructure includes:
- Proposing the development of policy and incentive measures for the development of business zones Serbian Government, municipalities and their development institutions. The agency also participates in the preparation and execution of international business development projects for the Republic of Srpska infrastructure, such as the EU grant schemes in the IPA program planned for the zone and entrepreneurial infrastructure projects with the German organization for international cooperation, GTZ, World Bank project and others.
- Support for municipalities and their development agencies and departments to strengthen the capacity of human resources and organizations on projects of business development zone. The agency supports local development agencies and municipal departments in charge of business development infrastructure, through a series of seminars and training on the methodology of establishing business zones, models of management in the construction and after construction zone, the methodology of preparation and Pre feasibility study zones, investment promotion, and organizing study visits to zones and municipalities in the region of Southeast Europe with good practices and so on. The agency also offers basic consulting the municipalities during the development of Pre feasibility and selection of optimal location for establishing business zones, proposed models of management zones and other business infrastructure, advises in the preparation of marketing strategies to attract investors and the like.
- Support local and foreign investors in the manufacturing sector, through consultation and gathering of data needed for pre-investment decision. Advice relating to the provision of information about available sites and their current status in terms of development of infrastructure, land prices, the degree of determination of property-legal relations, stanjku spatial-planning documentation, steps and costs for obtaining zoning, building and use permit, information on available labor force in a municipality or region to qualifications and labor costs, a single dose and repeated costs of municipal infrastructure, the required documentation about registration and so on.
